NYU’s Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering within the Tandon School of Engineering is hiring a department chair. The position is open to all research areas, but applications from theory candidates are very welcome. Our department has a growing Algorithms and Foundations Group (csefoundations.engineering.nyu.edu), with several recent hires working on theory of algorithms and machine learning.
