A full-time postdoc position is available in Karl Bringmann’s research group on Fine-Grained Algorithms & Complexity, which will be established at ETH Zurich in January 2026.

This position may optionally be joint with Danupon Nanongkai’s group at Max Planck Institute for Informatics, spending one year at ETH and one year at MPI.

Max Planck Institute for Informatics seeks several Postdoc and Group Leaders for the Algorithms and Complexity Department directed by Danupon Nanongkai.

We are looking for applicants from all areas of algorithms and complexity. Postdocs are free in their choice of research topics and collaborators. Group leaders are expected to independently build and lead research groups.
