We are looking for excellent candidates for a postdoctoral position in the area of the design and analysis of randomized and sublinear algorithms and their applications.
The main objective is to pursue cutting edge research in the area of design and mathematical analysis of randomized and sublinear algorithms, incl. research in property testing, complexity of algorithms, and streaming.
We are seeking excellent candidates for postdoctoral positions at the I-CORE ALGO (Israeli center of research excellence in algorithms) institutes. The institutes participating in the center are: Tel Aviv University, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Weizmann Institute of Science.
Three year postdoc position (salary grade E13).
Conduct independent research in the Berlin based team of Prof. Felipe Cucker (City U Hong Kong) and Prof. Peter Burgisser (TU Berlin).
Ideal candidates should have already done successful research in one of the areas of:
complexity theory, applied algebraic geometry, complexity and accuracy of numerical algorithms.
